The FPV kamikaze
Buy it, put it down anywhere, and hold R - from wherever you stand: your body freezes where it is and you are in the air. WASD and the mouse fly it; the rotors have a sound the enemy hears. Fly it into somebody and it goes off with a blast like a grenade - a direct hit kills, the blast hurts everybody around, buildings included. For a second after the bang you still see the place from a step back, then you are back in your body.
It is fragile: a few bullets bring it down, and it does not fly far from where it took off before its charge is spent - one target, one flight.
The gun drone
The gun drone is a flying turret: park it in the air over your base or over a road and it shoots enemies within its range, tracers and all, until its ammo is out. It can be flown around like the kamikaze, and it can be shot down like one.
What beats drones
Bullets, first of all: a drone in the open lives seconds. Then the air defence (PVO): it locks on to any enemy drone in its sight and sends an interceptor after it - and its owner earns for the kill. And the net: a cheap post that catches a drone flying into it, no shot fired. Smoke hides what is under it.
Flying a drone, stay low, come from behind cover, and look for the base without air defence.
Advice
- While you fly, your body stands still where you left it - fly from cover, not from the middle of the road.
- A kamikaze into a tank is the cheapest way to open it up.
- A gun drone over your own turrets covers the sky they cannot see.
